Hello All~
I just received my 2.6/16G/512 RMBP last Monday and I am loving this new machine.
The screen is beautiful and fortunately, I don't have ghosting problem (LG display, in case you guys wanna know.)
However, I have run into a weird problem that I want to get you guys' opinions.
The way I use my computer is that I open Safari and Mail after boot up, and when I am finished with the programs, I close the window (just close, not quitting the applications).
I would "quit" other programs (such as FaceTime) after I finished using them because they are not as frequently used as Safari and Mail.
Problem is that, after a while, when I open up a new application (like FaceTime), there would be no animation (application icon jumping a few times before it opens. I had this option checked in the Dock preference.) The application would open up just fine, but just no animation.
Also, after this happened, when I go "quit" safari and mail, they wouldn't quit (the tiny indicator below app icon remains there, and there would be no "force quit" option for me to click), so I guess the apps quit fine, but the indicators remains there.
All these weird stuffs go away when I restart the computer, but comes back after a while of usage.....Not a big problem (all apps are working just fine), but plain annoying.....
Just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing and the probable cause for this.
I would think this is a software related problem, but then, this problem does not occur on my early 2008 MBP or 2010 Air (all of these are upgraded to Mountain Lion). It only happens on the new RMBP.....
So....Please help...^^
