Weird problem Safari + Exposé

Today I was downloading some PDF's on Safari 4 and used Exposé and suddenly I saw this weird thing

weird.. isn't it?

That's Safari 4's loading screen for PDFs.

I know what that thing is.. but I've never seen it separated from the Safari window

especially when the PDF is loaded at top right .. haha should have mentioned that
