Weird problem with disappearing songs & files in Garageband

an issue with garageband I think....

for some reason, random song & v/o files have disappeared from my man track file this week - I can NOT figure out why! somehow they're just gone. it's going to take me another hour at least to re-do and fix this ...

I don't imagine you've ever heard of anything like this happening? Maybe I should actually take the trouble to buy and to learn LOGIC PRO???

if files are so important for you, always make a backup.

Switching to another app won't fix the problem I think. You probably need to be a bit more proactive and make sure you know where stuff is actually being saved. Files you've saved don't just disappear unless your computer has a failing drive. And again, spending money on Logic won't fix that problem.

I guess that's a long-winded way of me suggesting that it's (mostly likely to be) user-error, or hardware-related.
