Hello all,
So I've created an SSH tunnel to my home network so that I can remotely access two machines I have there and my NAS. Using the Mac RDP client, I am able to get to my Windows XP machine at home with merely typing 'localhost' in the location bar (as I have port 3389 forwarded to my Win XP machine at home). For my Mac, I have port 5900 forwarded to my MacBook Pro at home but when I use Screen Sharing.app to connect, I'm unable to use localhost or 127.0.0.1 as the address. Is there an easy way around this? I'd really rather not open up ports on my router to allow access to my MBP as I feel the SSH tunnel is probably the safest option. Thanks in advance!!
