Right side of wrong
ok, i have a 2006 mac pro quad 2.66 with 14 GB of RAM. attached is a pic of a few processes, and the top one looks kinda weird to me. especially the virtual memory size.

i do have some scripts running in terminal, is that what is causing that? also, i have less than 300 MB free RAM, and over 10 GB inactive RAM.

up. i think i figured it out. i'm trying to encode an HD file in handbrake, and it's having trouble with the file. just trying to scan the file with handbrake, i now only have 9 MB of free RAM and 10 GB of inactive RAM again.

so weird.

oh man. this is turning into a nightmare!

i plugged in a SD card, and got a kernal panic! and then, after holding power button down, and turning computer back on, i just get lines all over my display!
