A year ago my beloved mid 2012 mbp did a backflip off a shelf and hit the ground. Lid dented, screen smashed. I did the surgery myself to replace the entire lid. It was a challenge but it felt awesome to do the work myself.

So now I have this spare lid kicking around... yesterday I thought... how cool would it be to have it on the wall somewhere with the apple logo glowing like when the macbook is open. All the cables are still in tact. What would you do to attempt making a wall ornament out of this with the apple logo glowing. It's basically just for a conversation piece.

Here's a pic:

Take out the remnants of the screen and mount some LEDs around (but not directly behind) the Apple logo on the backside where the screen used to be. This should light up the logo with an even glow.
