Please see attached photos. The third time I tried I got the typical response of "Here are " blah blah blah "located near you"

The responses are weird, especially with the (Thanks, William!) and (Thanks, Steve!)

I have Siri assistant (JB) i'm not sure if it's related to that.

William is referring to William Shakespeare (it's a quote from Macbeth)

Steven is referring to Steven Wright (it's one of his jokes)

Google is your friend.

Yeah, Siri, has definitely been acting wonky lately.

Perhaps some tweaking has been going on for iOS 6!?

Too, we all do well to remember that even though it's not advertised as it; Siri is still in Beta.

When Siri gets straight to the facts, people complain that it's not fun or lifelike enough.
When Siri tells a few jokes (while still giving you the info you requested), people still complain.

They're both jokes that involve cleaning... what's hard to understand?

...and no, Siri is not in Beta. If it were, it wouldn't be out and heavily pushed on their latest phone. That's just a sad excuse Apple keeps as their 'get out of jail free' card.
