No where
Woke up this morning to this on my MacBook Pro 2,2. It is out of warranty, so I cannot send it back.

Is this a LCD defect or graphics card? I do not want to spend AU$450 and find out it is something else.

Sorry about the crummy image quality, my iPhone was the only camera I had handy.

Looks like the LCD panel to me. :(

I wish you luck, as I have no idea what it would cost to have repaired.

Thanks for the responses. It will cost AU$450 to get a replacement panel and I feel competent in fixing it. I've replaced a logic board on an iBook G4, here's hoping it is easier then that.:D

It won't be that bad. :)

The connector is the most difficult, as they then to be fragile. I've seen them pop off the pcb before. Keyboard connectors too, so be gentle. ;)
