For about four weeks now my Mid 2009 15" MacBook Pro has been acting a little funny following extended use (~3 hours) of Flash. The same problem occurs regardless of what web browser i use. I am currently running the latest version of Flash, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it three times now; no change. I have also tried downgrading to a previous version of Flash with no improvement.
The problem usually makes its first appearance like this, where the browser window turns black and I am only able to use shortcuts to make a new tab (which temporarily returns the browser window to normal) or close the window. Trying to drag the window (or other application windows) creates this problem. Once the problem has started, I have to restart the computer to fix it.
The fact that I'm able to screenshot the problem indicates to me that it's a programming error and not necessarily hardware... is this correct? Regardless, does anyone have a solution for this? If more information is needed, just ask
