I searched other threads about this and havent found anyone who has this exact problem. After using my iPhone 3G for a couple of minutes, the bottom left and/or right sides of the screen will get a faint yellowish tint to them. It's most noticable on a completely white background. The funny thing is that it's very inconsistent... sometimes it's there, sometimes not, and it varies between bottom left or bottom right of screen.

This is my 3rd iphone 3G replacement and I'd rather not venture back to the Apple store. What do you think?

Just to elaborate a little further...

The discolored blotch at the bottom corner of my screen is almost always visible, even on a black background. It looks like the screen is slightly brighter in that one spot. On a white background, the screen looks slightly yellowish (as if it's dirty or burnt, but it's not).

Any thoughts or similar experiences?

You have a borked display, same thing happened to my 1st of 4 2G's. Take it back, they'll replace it for you.
