Weird screen on external monitor when booting - rMBP 13 2013

Hi guys,

Everytime I boot my rMBP 13 late 2013 with my external monitor, I get a weird screen for 1-2 seconds just before the login screen.

I think I also got this screen one time directly on my laptop screen.

Do I have a problem with my IRIS chip?

Looks to me like it's just the initializing the secondary monitor, I wouldn't think anything of it as it connects right up after that. Looks like it might be a frequency thing starting up and then initializing.
