If I stare at my MBP long enough my entire body becomes very light and I feel like I'm floating.

Is that okay?

(I am 100% serious right now! I feel... weird. Like Im weightless in zero gravity or something)

Ah, the Reality Distortion Field!

It's perfectly normal, don't worry.

WOw That's so freakin trippy. I'm goin to have to remember to look at that when I'm "under the influence".

Back on topic...
Love does that to you. It's an unexplainable, crazy sensation. :D

Anyways, maybe you shouldn't stare at the screen for so long. Go outside your room, go get a drink or sumthin'.

Maybe you're comin down with a cold or some other sickness. It happens.

I used to get a feeling sort of like that, with some queasiness thrown in, when using a Multia running an early Win NT. No other machine ever did that. I do wonder if the monitor was giving off some high-pitched noise I wasn't fully aware of, or something.

Well... my MBP does whine.

Anyways, I have no idea what is causing the floating sensation... other than RDF and euphoria from a TV show pitch gone extremely well earlier today.

Also (and this happens quite often) before the floating sensation kicks in the screen (or my head? ) wobbles from side to side, like a boat pitching back and forth during an heavy storm.

I swear, I'm not on anything... though perhaps I should be?

Kingsly, maybe you're about to merge with your MBP on a spiritual level like those folks in the Star Trek movie did with the Voyager. :D
Or like the bad cyborg and the accelerator in Terminator 3

It must have something to do with your bright, shiny, highly reflective screen. I've been staring at my iBook for three years now and I still haven't floated away....

probably just an aversion to become dizzy. I get like that all the time, getting light headed. Well not all the time - but frequently. Poor circulation in my case though anything that slows blood to your brain will have the same effect.

Glad you enjoyed it. Just don't go any place you can't come back from. :D
