hi guys, first of all thank you for all of the great work, I've been reading here for quite some time now.
I have this issue with my new macbook air that seems kind of weird to me.
usually when i watch videos i like to jump forward sometimes by clicking on the timetable of the video at the bottom of the screen, I was used to this action being very smooth, even though I was running quite an old pc.

it doesn't matter if I'm watching through youtube or a file that is on my mac and I'm opening with vlc, every time i click on a different point of the video on the lower seek/time bar the video stalls for half a sec and then starts from that point, sometimes it even looks like it rewinds for a milisec and then starts.

I know its not that annoying but still, I wonder if this behaviour is normal, especially because my old pc could do that transition smooth.

looking forward for your thoughts, thanks a lot!
