weird sound at startup, like when i putt a cd in.

i have a question about the start up sound on my mac..
idk if its like this on every mac just wanted to now if i could get rid of it...?
there comes two different sounds, one of them i can live with but the other one really bugs me. its like when i putt a cd in, and it loads the cd... :confused:
plz help :)

thats normal
 
I think it happens on just about every mac with a slot loader, at least my 12" & 17" PBs, MB and my minis.

edit: And I have always hated it also.
