Hi guys,

I just pulled down Spotlight to search for something and just had this weird glitch/bug. I'm still getting it every time I pull down for Spotlight. :|

Anyone else experienced this?

Hi, I'm a longtime reader, first time poster.

I just started getting that bug either this morning or last night. Screen turns greyscale and icons become super pixelated. Also on a 6+. I made a macrumors account so that I could report that and other 8.1 bugs.

- Autofill for my personal information in Safari is working, but sporadically.
- Swiping to close windows in safari (portrait mode) leaves small portions of the window "lingering" on the left side of the screen until they are all closed.
- Music download with iTunes Match is WAYYY slower than it was with 8.0, and will leave some songs downloading forever.
- Orientation is still kind of spotty when pulling phone out of my pocket.
- I cannot turn on the phone with sleep/wake buttons sometimes, I have to use the home button.

I'll post more as I remember them.

i don't have that bug however almost 50% of the time when i use spotlight it will not show apps. in fact it's so stubborn that i have to restart the phone in order for spotlight to start searching for apps again.

Saw it once. Restarted the phone and haven't seen it since.

This happens when I use "Reduce Transparency" in Settings and then turn it off. Have you done that before? It goes away after restarting for me.

Yep, I did turn on the "Reduce Transparency" in the Accessibility settings earlier and then turned it off. Seems like it got confused, despite having clearly turned it off. Thanks for pointing out the culprit.

Can confirm a reboot fixed the issue.

Thanks ;)
