weird spotlight problem in my new macbook pro

I just upgraded to the new 2.66 macbook pro from my old 2.2 macbook pro.
Use migration to transfer all documents from the old computer to the new one.
Then really weird thing happened in spotlight that I have to click twice in preferences panel to enter into spotlight setting and some of the categories in spotlight were missing as showed.

any idea how to do?

Clearly something happened or it's a conflict when migrating. Try repairing disc permissions.

Tried repairing permission. Still the same problem. Any other suggestions?

I am having the same problem. Upgraded from a blackbook 2.4 ghz to the new 2.53 macbook pro. I used the migration wizard and I am missing the spotlight icons 11-14 in the spotlight preferences window. I have re-installed via the install the disk provided with the system. Still the same problem. I then also created a new user account, to see if maybe it was a user account problem. And same thing as well. Icons 11-14 missing.
