My computer seems to be having a strange phenomenon. I have a 14" iBook, and i always keep 4GB of free space on it. This morning i opened up my hardrive folder, and i see 3GB..I open my computer again after 4 hours and see that it's plummeted to 127MB! I do not know what is happening to my computer. It is now fluctuating between 200 and 600MB. If i could get some help, I would highly appreciate it.

In an admin account, use an app like OmniDiskSweeper to find where the space is being consumed. It'll probably be a rogue log file because that's a relatively common bug in OSX.
Also, try to have 8GB of free space if possible, rather than 4GB.
