Weird switchy cmd-tab thing

I have a macbook air which really hasn't given me any trouble until now.
I'm not sure how this happened, but my computer just randomly switches to programs and it's pretty annoying. It doesn't happen all the time just every once in a while. Like, right now it's fine. I tried rebooting it but it glitched almost immediately. It hasn't done it in a while, so maybe it fixed itself? I don't know...

Does it happen, when you have four fingers on the trackpad and swipe to the left or right?
