Bopping along, and I get messages that the internet isn't available. Just *boom*, it's not there. Sometimes it pops back on in a minute, other times it's out for many minutes. So, it happened, and I grabbed my iPad, and no issues. The wifi bobble shows connectivity, but nothing. If I turn Private Wifi off, it sometimes comes back, but Pwifi turns itself back on apparently too.

Anyone experienced that before with the 12 Pro Max? (Hopefully not Bendgate II) It's inconsistent enough to make diagnosing it through Apple Care a huge time sink I'm sure. Love those...

Thanks...

So I'm assuming I should talk to Apple Care about this. It's kind of maddening when it trips out for a while. It even happened on vaca too, but I wasn't using it as much. Darn, I was hoping to avoid having to waste time trying to diagnose this issue. It's likely going to take a lot of time... I hate intermittent problems.

I think I have had mine do that a couple times but it has never been out for minutes. Always for seconds. And to be honest, I attributed it to my router.

This doesnt help you but I have had a couple strange issues with my 12 Pro Max which is why I just pre-ordered a green 13 Pro Max. Didnt need it. But I usually give my phone to my wife and get the new model about every 2 years. I didnt want to give her a phone with issues. So I am trading the 12 pro max in and getting the 13 pro max.

My phone doesnt lock sometimes. It sometimes will lock in the time I set in settings. BUT sometimes my 12 Pro Max will just stay open essentially forever. I called apple but they just wanted me to restore the phone which I didnt do. The screen also sometimes stays lit up when I am on the phone with it up to my ear. Which I thought it was supposed to go black when held to your ear. Maybe these two things are related or maybe not. Maybe some sensor that tells if it is up to your ear also interferes with lock time.

Good luck. Hope you find a solution.
