My partner was trying to do some work yesterday, but noticed that after entering one or two character in any text field, the window of whichever app she was trying to work in 'rejected' the input. To try and describe it, the window goes into the same state it would if you had clicked another window. Except that no window accepts any text input other than one character at a time before the text field goes to 'greyed out'.
I have tried playing around with Stage Manager, appearance settings, and keyboard and mouse settings, but nothing has made a difference.
Right now it is impossible to do anything on any of the standard (non admin) accounts on this M1 Mac mini with Sequoia 15.6.
On my (admin) account the problem is not present.

Take a look at the video (attached).

What brand and model keyboard and mouse is attached to Mac mini? If you have another computer, you can try turning on screen sharing on the Mac mini, log in remotely to verify the issue happens when screen sharing. Just a thought.
