weird thing iphone 3gs how is that possible?

On 15.01.2011. I bought an iphone 3GS 8GB brand new. It had the ios 4.2.1 on it and I jailbreaked it with greenpoison. After using it till now I decided to go for the iphone 4. The wierd thing I noticed is that cydia is showing sh bloobs for ios 4.1 ! How could this be possible ? So for testing I tried to restore it to ios 4.1 and it worked !!!

I though when apple stops signing the ios there was no chance to go back
