So my MacBook Pro 13'' 2020, suddenly decided to auto-update. I'm not a naive user(I mean I did not request the update by mistake...). I was ignoring the last Catalina update(.7), since I was thinking of switching to Big Sur. Then last night, without any warning I had to restart since my Mac was acting weird and it got stuck while restarting. I did a forced quit. Then powering on the loading was incredibly slow so I did another forced quit. Then again, so I decided to just leave it do its thing. I was suspecting some sort of ssd failure, then the warning "42 minutes left" appeared. In the end it took like 10 minutes or less. So I checked the current firmware and it was the last one (.7). But in checking for updates it acted like it was not installed. So I did "install" it but it took like a normal restart and now it shows me Big Sur in updates. Anyone? Thanks.
