Yesterday I ripped a few new CD's via iTunes on my Macbook Pro, and then transferred the folders to my USB stick to play in my car. I did it in exactly the same way as I've always done. However, when I first select to play a song the iDrive initially says invalid file, but then after about 3-5 seconds it plays and displays the correct info and artwork. Also, it seems to double the number of tracks on there when it tells you what track it's playing ie normally if it's playing track 1 of 20 it shows 1/20 at the bottom. On the latest ripped albums it shows track 1 as 21/40, or of there's 10 songs track 1 would be 11/20 and so on. The third strange thing is that when you're searching through the tracks, instead of displaying the tracks as 01,02 etc it displays them as _01,_02 etc. It does this for all 5 albums I ripped yesterday, but all the other albums that have been on the USB for a while play fine.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I've been trying to think whether these are the first CD's I've ripped since the iTunes update. I'm not sure but they could well be, so could it be some weird glitch with the iTunes update? I'm pretty sure a lot of the other albums on the USB were also ripped using iTunes on my Mac (I also ripped a lot using Windows 7 before I bought my Mac earlier this year), but my memory's not great so it could be the way Macs use metadata and this is the first time I've ripped with Mac. I've unhidden hidden files using terminal, but there are no hidden files in the album folders.

I have since tried ripping the same CD's using iTunes on my PC and these work fine on the iDrive and have none of the above quirks
