Weird Wi-Fi network problem

ok, so i changed my wifi name. and since i did.
everytime i boot up my mac, it asks me to choose which network to join.
why would it ask me this every time?

also i did protect my wifi with a password (see picture).
and when i got into the network preferences and look at my wifi connection it shows that there is no security on my wifi (see picture). is it jus a glitch or something?

I would delete the current wifi network setup and create a new one.
