Weird yellow marks all over my screen

I have weird marks on my screen...I don't remember when it appeared exactly.
Can you help me figure out what they are ?

Did a reboot fix it?

What model MBP do you have?

If you continue to see graphic anomalies, the it may be the GPU failing on the computer

No a reboot did not fix it.

it's one of the first 17inch macboo pros.

is there a way to test the GPU ?

Most likely the GPU is playing tricks on you. What are your temperature readings? Is the problem persistent? Were you doing any graphic intensive work/running a lot of flash based content?

nothing really high it seems

this macbroo pro runs a lot of video feed, TV etc...so maybe it got hot I don't know !
