How are photos of people I know getting into my camera roll for FB and messages but not in my regular camera roll? This is so weird! They aren’t photos I took. It’s like they were air dropped but I haven’t been near these people for a week at least! Like I said they don’t show up in my regular photo app..but if I go to post something in FB or send a text with a photo they are there! Halp!! This is creepy!!!

ETA... Okay...think they are in my regular camera roll too!! This is so odd! Like they showed up today but I haven’t seen this people for a week!

ETA part 2...they are coming from a what’s app conversation I am in. Hmm.. wonder how I can stop this!

Get rid of your social media apps and you will be glad you did.

Agreed. But that wouldn’t help this situation. Photos would still have come in via what’s app and I have to use that app for a group I am a part of.
 
I haven’t quit social media but I’ve started change by deleting apps and accessing via browser. I was concerned about how other apps are sharing information with the Facebook app. I was concerned about facebooks use of their access to my camera roll.

I would be concerned, too. Do not have anything to hide but things like health information being leaked can cause real world consequences. Facebook has lied so many times it is hard to believe anything they say.

It is all about gathering and selling information.
