Yeah, but the point is that Gemini will be deeply integrated into Apple products; not just an optional app.How many of us here already use Gemini as an app?
I have to believe Google is going to have very little information about Apple users' data. I don't know the technical inner workings, but I would assume the gemini LLM is made available to Apple for a hefty fee.Yeah, but the point is that Gemini will be deeply integrated into Apple products; not just an optional app.

Apple is being left in the dust where AI is concerned. I really think their only chance of getting their own product is to buy one outright. I prefer ChatGPT myself. I have tried Copilot which we have at work with our Office subscription, it works ok but in some tests I have tried ChatGPT performed better and more accurate in terms of looking at files and answering the questions I had about them.So if Apple couldn't even fix Siri, that doesn't really bode well for them as they try get their AI initiative off the ground and be a player in that segment.
