If I'm not mistaken, every time before a keynote, Apple generally releases an official leak to either NY Times or WSJ about what's to be expected at the event.

Right on time, straight off the press, from NY Times this year it seems

Yea except for the fact that it follows a very specific and common trend that happens every year and doesn't fail to be reliable (at least that I'm aware of)
