Sad news to report, I've sold my final remaining working PowerPC, my Quad G5. A bit bittersweet as this is the first time in 15 years I won't have a PPC hanging around.

I have one quad salvage in my closet, I think I'm going to part it out (failed LCS), including a spare Quadro FX 4500.

This has been one of my favorite forums to hang out on, it will be a little different not being able to tinker and respond directly to posts that relate to something.

just because you're currently ppcless doesn't mean you have to stay that way.
That and you don't need to own a PowerPC to stick around and assist in answering questions or being involved in conversations. ;)

I've seen dead G4 chips with a copper ring soldered to the back used as key fobs. I think they hold up pretty well, and you could always round off the corners with a diamond dremel tool so they're more pocket friendly.

Good luck on your next project.
