Well after reading tons of web articles and forum threads, I haven't found quite what I'm lookin for. If you know of a thread that already deals with my questions please post the link. Im sure there is already one that I managed to miss.

Here is what I have:

Iphone 3GS bought brand new from ATT

Bootrom 359.3.2 if I remember right

Version 4.1(8B117)

Model: MC135LL

I want to tether my phone to my computer. I know you can pay ATT more $$ on top of what I already pay LOL. But since I already pay for unlimited data I dont see why I should pay more to hook it to my computer.

Who do I use? Pwnage / Greenpois0n / RedSn0w or Limera1n

Is one beginner friendlier than the other?

How hard is it to go back to stock?

Thanks

if you are staying with ATT then there is no need to worry about baseband issues.

greenposi0n or limera1n, both are easy and straight forward.

If you want to go back to stock just restore.

If you restore from a back up there will still be remnants of the jailbreak in the GUI
If you restore as a new phone its is a clean install.

Couple last questions. And if you know of a thread that pertains to my questions just post it.

Will I:

Lose my contacts?

Lose my apple Apps?

Still be able to sync to Itunes after JB?

Still purchase apps through Itunes?

Still be able to use already purchased app's?
