WEP and Wireless problem with MBPro

I attempted to enable WEP on my D-Link router and when I did I couldn't get a signal. I plugged into router make sure it was set right and the SSID was missing so I fixed it and the network was located and I've got a signal, but I can't connect to the net. So I plugged in again and disabled WEP to see if that was why. I'm still detecting the network and getting a signal, but not able to connect to the internet. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks in advance.
