hey
I'm running a wireless internet in my flat but we're having problems connecting two of our ibooks to it, i looked up the model of our router (SWBR-5400) and somewhere said
"watch out when setting WEP security key as a hex value, Airport/OSX needs the \'#\' character preceding it"
I'm not really too computer literate but i tried putting the symbols \'#\' before the hex password but it still doesn't seem to work. Is \'#\' a specific character? I don't know I'm probably just being thick but any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Steve

I think you need to put a $ sign before the hex wep key when entering it onto your iBook. Can you get the WEP passphrase used to setup the WEP key on the router ? if so you can enter that in as a WEP password on your iBook (thats what I do :) )
