I made a mistake and deleted Safari, i went to apple.com and downloaded safari but i cant install it. It seems there are only update version requiring me to have older versions of Safari which i dont.

That's odd crazycat. You should have no problems getting it from Apple.com. This page is the download page for the full version (safari 3 beta), you just need to fill in your email addy on the left hand side. Is that the page you went to?
 
Yes, Safari 2 is not available on Apple's site...you have to install it from your install disc. But you can get the Safari 3 beta at .Andy's link.

The only thing available on Apple's site is an update to Safari 1.
 
Pretty sure the Safari 3 beta requires an earlier version of Safari to be on the hard drive. You can reinstall Safari from your install CDs using Pacifist.
