iPod Were there two Product red Ipod's

i just saw this image and i just want to know was there two Product Red Ipod Shuffle 2nd generation's.cause in the pic i see one with a more matte red and one with a gloss like red.

The dark red version was released in 2007, the "brighter" version was released in 2008. I like 'em both.

here is my product red shuffle

i am not sure which year it is.the red is shiny and not a matte red.

That is the 2007 model, it was produced in the same red as the iPod nano 3G.

I have the 2007 model and I hate the "red" which is more of a maroon color.
