wasn't there rumor that apple was going to be listing store inventory on their website? or the mac store app? or something?

would be much more convenient than driving from store to store or calling stores and asking if they have any left.

If both of you are referring to Apple brick & mortar stores,not yet.When the 5 was released,it was 10-14 days after release IIRC to Stores to list inventory after 10pm to enable online purchase and store pick up.
