I've been looking for FireWire800 back-up drives to use with Time Machine on my iMac. The Western Digital My Book™ Pro Edition II is on the short list. Anyone else using it who can provide feedback? It's $620 at Costco.com I was looking at a 1TG My Book in a store but it was only FW400 compatible.

I may be wrong here, but it doesn't appear to me that Time Machine is backing up at the full speed of the drive. So if you're just using the drive for TM then FW400 may well be plenty fast enough.
