hi
do you think this is a good and reliable hard drive to work with Leopard on MBP:
Western Digital My Book Studio Edition II 1TB Mac
Win Firewire / Firewire 800 USB2 eSATA. I have choose it caz it has Dual-Drive Storage System with RAID 2 TB, Quad Interface .Its for working with big images and .avi files.

Because I dont really understand from hard drives, could you please tell me if this is a good and reliable hard drive?

thanks

Well mate, the specs are pretty much ok, but...
You never know what you're really getting with those drives...
Especially with brands"cheaper than x brand"...

To be honest, i've heard many stories with WD externals behaving strange.

I would say, let the price guide you.. you have a good solution there but try a brand with better reputation... start off amazon user reviews.

There you go...;)

I have a 1 year old my book and a few older WD external drives. They all still work great. I would buy another my book.

i need something between 320-500GB,with back up,and to be reliable,
what do u suggest to buy, please?
