My ipod touch had gotten wet in the rain. I left it in rice for 5 days and there was no water left in the screen.

I went to power it on and it turned on, but the screen won't respond to touch.

Is it done for or is there something I can do to fix it?

I had it sitting in rice for 5 days and all the water is basically out. Although if the screen is black I can see dark and light spots. Would putting it in silica gel help?
