Wet iPod

Today at the beach i forgot i had my iPod in my pocket but i was in the ocean for about 30 seconds when i remembered that my iPod was in my pocket. Now my iPod doesnt turn on.Luckily when my iPod got wet it was off.Please help!
 
Fill a container with dried rice and bury the ipod in it. Cross your fingers and check it tomorrow.
