i've never had problems with stuffit expander not opening .rar files

in any event, you could try UnRarX

Does anyone know a good forum that posts rar files? I dont know, I am kind of sketched out about downloading files that way and with forum there is feedback on certain links. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
