The Land of Hope and Glory
I'm going to buy a Thunderbolt 4 hub so I can plug in two HDMI monitors in addition to a third monitor using the HDMI port on the back of the Mac Studio itself. I'm also going to be using my PC mechanical keyboard, so I ordered some Mac keycaps for it. I wondered what other people were getting to go along with their Mac Studios?

I plan to use my main monitor, an Eizo, with both the Mac Studio and a 2018 Mac mini. At the moment, it looks like this is just a matter of purchasing a cable. I also plan to get an additional Trackpad and Apple Keyboard, maybe with Touch ID. I'm in good shape for external solid-state drives, but I'll get two inexpensive hard drives for Mac Studio backups (Time Machine and Carbon Copy Cloner).

Technically I bought the accessories first. But it's going to find itself rigged-up to a home studio consisting of:

- Samsung U28R550UQR 28" 4K LED Monitor
- HP G5 USB C docking station
- Two daisy-chained passive USB hubs driving my lower-powered and separately-powered devices
- Motu M4 audio interface
- Kali IN-5 studio monitors
- Arturia KeyLab 88 and KeyStep midi controllers
- Icon Qcon Pro X control surface with three Pro XS slave units
- Audio Technica AT2020 microphone
- Sennheiser HD580 open-back headphones
- Audio Technica M50X closed-back headphones
- Matias wired Mac-layout keyboard
- Magic Trackpad 2 (permanently wired)
- Cheap unbranded wired mouse
- Samsung 4TB USB HDD (for Time Machine backups)

All of which I have aspirations of connecting to the Mac Studio via one USB C cable.
Wish me luck.
