hi guys, i dont know if this is in the right thread, i couldnt find anything for accessories. anyway, my birthday is coming up in a few days, and i have around 230 dollars to spend. i was thinking of buying windows 7, but then i said no, itll be junk. i have a unibody macbook 13 inch, and i was just wondering what are some cool accessories to buy for it, and what do they do. i am interested in things like hacking into my personal things, like modifying my ipod and stuff. please post as it would be very helpful! thanks!

you could get an external monitor, a keyboard and mouse and have a bit of nice setup.

You can get skin or vinyl for it. Some people think its a waste of money but i'm an artsy guy so i like my macbook with a bit of personality.

Ummmm +1 for the mentioning of the monitor. Dell usually sells them for cheap and i like the quality. External hard drive can't hurt, especially if you want to put all your media on something that can be transferred elsewhere.

I would buy a new case for it (but that is because I really don't like scratches). Also, I am really happy that I bought the irain laptop stand and some prefer the elevator. Or just buy a very large iTunes gift card for yourself. I can never have enough iTunes credit.

If you are a student or have an .edu email account you can get Win 7 for $30. Unfortunately, Microsoft can't always be like Apple, as that price provides no disk and is only a promotion that ends in January.

IIRC for $12 added you can get a DVD mailed out to you. Also, just for a head's up, the $30 version is an UPGRADE version, not the full version. You can install it and do a couple registry mods though and set it up without a previous installation so it will effectively be the full version (http://www.winsupersite.com/win7/clean_install_upgrade_media.asp)
