Hello. I'm a 15 year old (16 year old in September), and I was thinking of maybe having a summer job next year at Apple. I have extensive experience working with electronics (president of various tech / computer clubs at school) and also am good at recommending products (I spend my time doing YouTube videos / help people on Yahoo! answers) and I'm social.

However my age is concerning because they may pass me off as being immature. What age do you have to have (at minimum) to work at the Apple store?

Thanks for your time!

I recommend calling the Apple Store and asking the manager. This is more likely to give you definitive answer than posting on a forum.

With a direct call, you may also be able to engage the manager and make a case for allowing you to work there in some role.

I'm also 15 and really wanted to work at the Apple store. Your (sic) screwed until your (sic) 18 :(

Something to look forward to in 3 years.

But I must admit, making a purchase of $2,000 (or more) with a 15 year old would give me pause.

A bit of reverse ageism, perhaps...

I believe from the age of 17. There were some folks still sitting A-Levels when I interviewed way back when.

Sorry for being late here...

It all depends on who the manager of the store is. A lot of times you have to have connections with someone who is a manager and you have to be considered "skilled" to work there.

I got lucky at Verizon - Once I turn 14 which is in a few days, I am legally allowed to work, and the regional manager for VZW in my area knows me, and he's getting me a job at a store. Yay.

If you don't have any connections, then ur screwed until age 18. Sry.
