I started out by going to iclarified.com and using their tutorial for WinPWN (upgrading to the 2.02 file). I followed the step by step instructions.... everything was working "OK". I had a few issues though
- would reboot on me for no reason
- would crash when starting some apps
It got so bothersome that I figured I would try QuickPWN and 2.2 instead...
I loaded the latest 2.2 software. It unlocked and JBd fine but had so many issues!
at this point things started going downhill FAST.
- would crash all the time
- crazy screen gibberish
- would get stuck in "update" mode showing the cable->itunes
- then it wouldn't even connect "Error 1611" and "Error 1604" etc... it took me about 40 tries (literally) to get itunes to successfully flash it back to OEM 2.2
Here are a few shots of what it looked like... WTF!
So now it's back to it original state and everything 'seems' fine but I can't really test because it is locked in it's pre activation screen.
What am I doing wrong!? I tried both winpwn and quickpwn methods multiple times each... following directions implicitly each time and always had issues.
Could this be a hardware related issue!?
