What app are using my bandwidth?

Hello,

From time to time I see my internet bandwidth go unexplainably high, and I would really like to have an app that could tell me what's happening in more detail.

What I'd like is a bandwidth equivalent of what Activity Monitor is for CPU usage.

Anyone know of such an app?

Little Snitch can find out for you what applications want to connect to the Internet when.

you can download an app called istat, it comes in dashboard widget or desktop (menu bar) form. That might help
