what app is like smart utility?

my smart utility trial ran up and i need to check my load cycle count of my hard drive and things like that. anyone know an app i can download?

While trying to search for an answer for you, I came across this nice article with comments. It looked pretty interesting. The conclusion that I came up with was to secure a good or at least decent backup method and if you want a good SMART checker, looks like Smart Utility is worth the $25.

yeah i couldnt really find any other solution either. i do backup my data but i just want to check my load cycle cuount to make sure my hdapm is working on this new drive because my load cycle count was increasing rapidly.

but i remember reading a thread a month or two ago and someone told me smart utility and another free trial or free one, i just cant remember the name :/
