Hi,
I want to change the interval time that weathericon checks for updates, currently 15 minutes which I'm guessing will drain my battery, want to change it to 120 minutes so it checks every two hours.

I am new to editing files, I have found the file using Fugu and SSH and have downloaded to my desktop..
However when I open in textedit on my mac it does not have the variables that I can change.
Should I be using a different application to edit?

Picture 1 shows what I am seeing in textedit, Picture 2 is what it should look like according to the package info.

NB. I have tried searching but only suggests textedit.
Thanks

You can download ifile from cydia and edit the plist on the phone, no need for sshing it to another computer.

+1

I used iFile to add battery percent indicator. Also, I use it to monitor my Powerlog report. No need to sync in order to view it and when the file gets too big, I delete it.
