what apps/settings kill battery life?

hello folks, I am just wondering what stuff you guys have turned off and whatnot to save battery life? for example if I'm using 3G would having wifi still on have a large impact. I know i should be figuring this out on my own though any input would be a great start. thx

wifi disconnects when in standby, so that shouldn't really matter

if you're not using bluetooth, i suppose you have that turned off anyways.
