What are LED properties in iphone 4

Does anyone know what are LED properties in iPhone 4 are they similar to iphone 3g? So if i could plug LEDs from 3g's LCD would they work on iphone 4?

Ok, I am wondering if LEDs (backlight for LCD) in iphone 3g and iphone 4 have the same properties.
