What are my options if the rumours of an imminent refresh are true?

I've just got my rMBP less than a week ago. Because I bought it with the back to school promotions when I click return in my orders I'm told:

"Orders placed with a promotional discount or coupon are ineligible for return online.To find out if this order is eligible for return, contact an Apple Online Store representative at 0800 048 0408."

So what can I do if the refresh comes tomorrow? Can I exchange my Macbook in-store? How long does the return process take if not?
